Today we open the doors to our Mothering Sunday Pop-Up at The Old Grocery in Wivenhoe, and the shelves are already looking beautifully full.
After a busy few days baking, wrapping and styling, we’re ready for a lovely weekend of flowers, cake and thoughtful gifts — all gathered together in one cosy space on Wivenhoe High Street.
Gift Boxes Ready to Give
This year we’ve created a selection of gift-ready boxes filled with our handmade bakes, designed to make Mothering Sunday easy (and delicious).

Everything is beautifully wrapped and ready to hand over on Sunday — ideal if you’re looking for something thoughtful but don’t want the stress of last-minute shopping.

It’s the kind of pop-up where you can walk in and leave with a complete Mothering Sunday gift in just a few minutes.
Cupcake Decorating Workshops
We’ll also be running a few cupcake decorating sessions over the weekend.
On Saturday afternoon, children can decorate a cupcake and personalise a gift box — a sweet little handmade present to give on Mothering Sunday.
And on Sunday morning, we’ll host a more relaxed cupcake decorating workshop for teens and adults, where guests decorate a beautiful box of four cupcakes. Tea and coffee are included, with the option to add a cream tea.

When to Visit
If you joined us for our Christmas Pop-Up, you’ll remember it was wonderfully busy — so we definitely recommend coming earlier in the day if you can.

We’re just two minutes from Wivenhoe train station and a short walk from the main free car park opposite The Greyhound pub.
Our counter is open as usual in the business centre.
