Welcome to Victoria Yum Bakery

Founded over 18 years ago by our Head Baker and Business Owner, Kiersten George, Victoria Yum began in the heart of Hackney, East London. What started as a humble street-food stall soon grew into a beloved bakery brand, with our hand-crafted cakes and bakes appearing on the counters of independent coffee shops across the city.

Over the years, our commitment to flavour, creativity, and consistency has earned us a reputation for quality and care — and even saw our products stocked in some of London’s most iconic food halls, including Harrods, Selfridges, and Fortnum & Mason.

Our Story Continues in Wivenhoe

In 2025, we opened the doors to our brand-new bakery and weekend coffee spot in Wivenhoe, Essex. It’s our family’s new home for all things Victoria Yum — a place where we bake, brew, and welcome our community every weekend with fresh buns, sweet and savoury bakes, and our signature doughnuts.

Everything we serve is made on-site by hand, in small batches, using the finest ingredients we can source. From our cakes to our indulgent brownies, we’re devoted to honest baking that feels special, comforting, and memorable.

Join us on Saturdays (9 am – 4 pm) and Sundays (9 am – 1 pm) for coffee, pastries, and weekend bakes.

We also offer local deliveries by e-Cargo bike and nationwide postal treats — brownies & cake slices by post — sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24, so you can enjoy a little bit of Victoria Yum wherever you are.
