How do I order my cake?

The best way to order your cakes is online, if you have a special occasion or request we recommend you contact us at cake@victoriayum.com so that we can assist you. You can call 07528 578 934 to place or discuss an order over the phone.

How much notice do I need to give when placing an order?
The cut off time for placing online orders for next day delivery is 12pm/noon the day before the order is needed. This is subject to the kitchen production schedule. To order for delivery between Thursday and Sunday, please allow at least 2 days advance notice to avoid disappointment. Weekends are our busiest days and slots for baking and delivery are limited.

What is the minimum order for delivery?
The minimum order for delivery is six cupcakes or one large cake, it is always best to call us on 07528 578 934 or email cake@victoriayum.com if you are unsure whether we will be able to deliver your order to you.

Where do you deliver to?
All of our cakes are hand delivered by us to ensure your they arrive looking as good as they did in our kitchens, we will attempt to cover most East London, City of London and Central London postcodes, these include E1, E2, E3, E5, E9, E10, E11, E17, EC1, EC2, EC3, EC4, N1, N16, WC1 & WC2

We try to keep delivery charges to a minimum. You are also welcome to pick up your cakes from us on a Saturday between 11-4pm at Hackney Homemade Market, we will have them boxed and ready at no additional charge.

We deliver 7 days a week between 10.00-18.00 although we are unable to offer specific delivery times on your chosen day of delivery. We will confirm your delivery once you have placed your order. When placing an order for delivery, please be sure to provide a telephone number on which we can contact you or the recipient should there be any problems in delivering the order.

Returns
In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your order or you have taken delivery of a cake that is not what you ordered, we ask that you retain all packaging and contact us immediately on 07528 578 934 so that we can assist you and help resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

Why can’t I choose my specific delivery time?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee specific delivery times but rest assured your cake will arrive on the day! If you have a super emergency and can only receive the cake at a certain time, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate, however we cannot guarantee times.

I need to cancel or amend my order. How can I do this?
To cancel or amend an order, please email us at cake@victoriayum.com as soon as possible and we can assist you.

I’ve noticed an error in my order confirmation. What can I do?
If your order confirmation has an error, please give us a call at 07528 578 934 or alternatively email us at cake@victoriayum.com

DIETRY INFORMATION
We use lots of butter and cream, please have a look at the ingredients list if you can't have dairy. All our items contain free range eggs except for our Vegan cakes, our bakes are not suitable for vegans except for our Vegan Cupcakes. All our products contain gluten, with the exception of our Gluten free cakes. We do not use animal-derived food colours. Some items do contain alcohol, please read the ingredient and allergy info list

STORAGE INFORMATION
How long will the cakes last for?
All of our products are freshly made with zero preservatives, so everything is best consumed the day they are purchased, we know this is not always possible so here are our suggestions: Cupcakes - as a rule do not refrigerate, they are at their best within 24 hours of purchase. Red Velvets and Carrot Cakes can go in the fridge, the rest can be kept in an air-tight plastic container kept at room temperature. Cakes to be held longer than a day should be refrigerated and taken out of the fridge about an hour before serving, a cool room is preferred. Hummingbird and Carrot Cakes can be refrigerated.
